History of Beginning

The history of fragrance dates back to ancient civilizations like Egypt, Mesopotamia, India, and China, where scents were used in rituals, healing, and personal care. The Greeks and Romans popularized perfumes for daily use, while the Islamic Golden Age advanced distillation techniques, especially through Avicenna. In medieval Europe, perfumes were used for hygiene and protection against disease.

The Industrial Revolution introduced synthetic ingredients, making perfumes more accessible. Today, the fragrance industry blends tradition with innovation, focusing on sustainability, personalization, and modern technologies like AI in scent creation.
